Macau-based low cost carrier Viva Macau has ceased operations following the revocation of its operating licence by the Macau Government. Viva Macau had been operating flights from Macau to Sydney and Melbourne in Australia, plus Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and other Asian regional destinations. The airline has a a fleet of three 767s and an estimated 300 Australian passengers have been stranded in Macau and Hong Kong.
Viva Macau has been operating since December 2006.
