Wildlife enthusiasts who are desperate to see mountain gorillas may find that booking an organised trip is relatively straightforward, an expert has claimed, news that may lead more people to book flights to Kigali.
David Hewitt, communications manager at the Gorilla Organisation, noted that visitors are welcome to come and see the conservation work done in Rwanda.
"Going to see the gorillas as part of an organised trip is straightforward enough and by doing this you really will be making a real difference," he commented.
The expert asserted that those who book Fly540 flights and visit the gorillas will not only help the animals, but also the continuing development efforts in the country.
According to Mr Hewitt, the greatest danger to mountain gorillas is the destruction of their habitat.
Earlier this month, a list of the top 100 travel experiences voted for by Brits and compiled by Wanderlust magazine revealed that spotting mountain gorillas was the second most desirable thing to do.
