Jet-setters hoping to enjoy a cultural break abroad may wish to head to Romania on Blue Air flights to catch one of the performances at the Bucharest National Opera House.
The national opera season is scheduled to run until June 2011, so there is still time to travel to the eastern European nation to witness one of the shows.
Among the performances listed for the 2010/2011 season are Peter Ruzicka's Celan, Tchaikovsky's Evgeny Onegin and The Nutcracker and Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Shows for this season started to be put on in October last year and those who miss them will be able to check out the next season's offerings from October 2011.
While in Bucharest, those with Blue Air flights may want to head to the Old Town, where the Street Music Festival is being held this June.
At this event there will be performances of Romanian folk and medieval music for visitors to enjoy in the ancient part of the city.
