Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage

Viking Airlines most likely allowed one piece of carry-on baggage and one personal item per passenger.

Size restrictions for carry-on bags are typically specified in terms of linear dimensions (length + width + height) and are usually around 45 linear inches (115 cm) or less. Weight limits for carry-on bags can vary but are commonly around 15 to 22 pounds (7 to 10 kg).

In addition to carry-on bags, passengers are often allowed to bring a personal item, such as a purse, laptop bag, or small backpack. The personal item should fit under the seat in front of you.

Checked Baggage

Viking Airlines may have allowed 1 piece of checked baggage per passenger as part of the fare.

Checked baggage allowances depend on the airline, class of service, and sometimes the fare type. The number of checked bags allowed may range from one to multiple bags. Weight limits per checked bag are commonly in the range of 50 to 70 pounds (23 to 32 kg). Size restrictions for checked bags are often expressed in terms of linear dimensions.

Check-In Information

There is no solid information about Viking Airlines' check-in information, however, there are generic rules that can be followed.

Online Check-In

Airlines usually allow passengers to check in online within a specific time frame before the scheduled departure. This window can vary but is typically open 24 hours to a few hours before the flight. Passengers can log in to the airline's website or use a mobile app to check in. They need to enter their booking reference or ticket number and follow the on-screen instructions.

Airport Check-In

Passengers can check in at the airline's check-in counters at the airport. This is a traditional method where airline staff assists in the process. Many airports provide self-service kiosks where passengers can check in by entering their booking information and following the prompts on the screen.
