Britons travelling to south-east Asia may have more transportation options now that Vietnam Airlines has announced it will offer a new route between Hanoi and Kaohsiung.
Those using the carrier to get to Taiwan will be able to fly using its services at 18:30 local time and flight times are expected to be about two and a half hours, reports Vietnam News.
The route will be available from June 17th and it takes the total number of flights between the nations up to 28.
Holidaymakers and business travellers will be able to fly direct between the cities on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on what will be the fourth direct flight from Vietnam to Taiwan.
Last month, the carrier signed a deal with a consortium of overseas banks - including DBS and HSBC - in which it secured $457 million (£277 million) to purchase eight Airbus planes to expand its fleet.
