Holidaymakers planning to explore south-east Asia may have more travel options after Vietnam Airlines launched additional flights between Hanoi and Kuala Lumpur.
Starting last week, the carrier now offers trips between the two cities using its A321 aircraft.
Tuan Mai, general manager of Malaysia for Vietnam Airlines, said: "The direct service will improve the route network of Vietnam Airlines in the region.
"The service will also provide more choice and greater convenience for our passengers travelling between the two cities."
With the new non-stop service, vacationers and other travellers will be able to book flights to Hanoi and Kuala Lumpur on a daily basis.
The first of the new flight offerings was completed on Wednesday June 15th when 150 passengers arrived in the Malaysian capital from the Vietnamese city.
Other new routes started this month included flights to Taiwan, the first of which left the runway on June 17th, taking the total number of nations serviced by Vietnam Airlines up to 28.
