Zimbabwean start-up Vic Falls Airways has reached an agreement with a US aircraft leasing company to lease a Boeing 767-200 ER, with 189 seats (22C/167Y) to serve long haul destinations such as London, China, Dubai and Paris, subject to Government approval from Harare.

Vic Falls Airways has already been licensed by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Development, but is yet to obtain an Air Operator’s Certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe. H. Officials from the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe are expected to fly to Florida to check the Boeing 767 to be leased to Vic Falls Airways. Zimbabwean aviation is developing rapidly with local start-up, Fly Kumba already flying and Fly 540 Zimbabwe is expected to start soon.
