

Holidaymakers intent on experiencing something different on their next trip overseas might consider heading to Costa Rica on a TACA flight to spend some time in a tree house.
Tree House Lodge in the Gandoca-Manzanillo wildlife refuge recently featured in a list of the top five examples of this form of accommodation compiled by Toby Bakare for the Guardian.
Up to six people can stay there at a time and there are rocking chairs and hammocks in which to relax.
It has been constructed around a 100-year-old tree, with the bathroom "wrapped around the crevices of the trunk".
There are four houses altogether and the whole thing is located in a "lush tropical garden".
Vacationers with an interest in nature might be tempted to book flights to Costa Rica in light of the recent World Economic Forum Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index, which praised the destination for having "a high percentage of nationally protected areas … [and] very diverse fauna".
