Albanian Airlines flights to Tirana might be increasingly popular in light of one expert's assertion that Eastern Europe is an "easy place to travel".
Craig Mitchell, a spokesman at Busabout Europe, said infrastructure within countries in the region is improving.
This, he noted, is making it easier for vacationers to explore nations and even to travel between them.
"For travellers looking to go to Eastern Europe, your blank canvas is starting to be filled up," he observed.
This might tempt jet-setters to consider heading to the area to book Albanian Airlines flights and to start their trip in Tirana.
Holidaymakers who decide to begin their trip here might find there is plenty to occupy them in the Albanian capital.
Earlier this month, Albania was ranked 71 in the World Economic Forum's Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index, up 19 places from its position in the same report published in 2009, news that might entice travellers to consider a break in the Eastern European nation.
