TransAsia Airways, based in Taipei, has announced the launch of  a new direct flight every Friday between Xiamen and Kaohsiung, in the south of Taiwan starting April 9th 2010. TransAsia Airways has also announced that it will start flying between Fuzhou and Kaohsiung.
