Transaero Airlines of Russia has announced plans to start a weekly scheduled service from Moscow's Domodedovo airport to Miami and a twice-weekly service to New York's JFK Airport from December 2010. Transaero are currently in the midst of a major fleet upgrade and expansion with the addition of  five Boeing 777-200 aircraft (coming from Singapore Airlines) and  nine Boeing 747-400's due to be added to the fleet during 2010.
