

Transaero Airlines has launched a new regular domestic route from Moscow to Blagoveshchensk in the Russian Far East. The new flight is Transaero’s 15th domestic route.
The new Moscow - Blagoveshchensk – Moscow flight operates three times a week with the flight numbers UN195/196 and using a new Tupolev-214 aircraft in a two-class configuration (8 Business class seats and 176 Economy class seats). Blagoveshchensk is a Far-East Russian city located on the Amur River only 150 meters far away from the Chinese border.The local economy has expanded due to cross-border trade with China and Blagoveshchensk has become a strategic city for foreign trade and business. In recent years Blagoveshchensk has emerged as a centre for metal and timber processing as well as paper production. Currently the city is served by rail, a river port and an airport. Transaero has already added four new destinations in 2009 alone: Moscow – Ufa, Moscow – Samara, Moscow - Kazan and Moscow – Magadan.
Transaero Airlines has already launched flights connecting Moscow and other cities of the Russian Far East such as Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Anadyr and Magadan.
