Business travellers who regularly take trips on Transaero flights could be among those set to benefit from a new codeshare agreement between the firm and Singapore Airlines.
The number of routes available on the Russian carrier's network is set to expand through the deal and the codeshare flights will be available for travel from August 1st.
General director of Transaero Olga Pleshakova commented: "There is no doubt that passengers from Singapore, Russia and other countries will appreciate the opportunity to arrange their trips on these new codeshare flights."
A senior official at the Asian airline added that the agreement will provide both leisure and business travellers with greater options when planning trips between Singapore and Moscow.
Last month, Transaero announced that it would be using Boeing 777 aircraft on its Moscow to Toronto flights and that four different classes of seating would be available.
