

Tibet Airlines, the first airline based in Tibet Autonomous Region of China, flew its first flight today from its home base in Lhasa to Kunsha airport in Ngari Province.
In addition to the new Lhasa-Ngari route, Tibet Airlines will now start to fly to other cities in China, such as Chengdu and Chongqing using a fleet of Airbus A319 aircraft. At the initial launch of the airline in 2010 it was announced new services to Europe may start in 2015. Tibet is still a must see place and any extra way of getting to and from Lhasa has got to be a good thing. We will be finding out how Alternative Airlines can soon start selling tickets on this new of new airlines, watch this space.
