Travellers hoping to enjoy the magic of the Serengeti National Park in the lap of luxury may be encouraged to book Precision Air flights to Tanzania as a hotel in the region recently won a prestigious award.

Singit Grumeti Reserves was named the best hotel in the world in the Travel + Leisure magazine World Best 2011 Awards, one of four in the country that made it into the top 20 in Africa.

The establishment features five lodges in the heart of the homeland of the big five animals - lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos.

At the Singita Sasakwa Lodge, there are nine luxury cottages, each with their own infinity-edge pools overlooking the stunning landscape.
