Tanzania has been tipped as a travel destination with the natural resources and other attractions to overtake other favourites in the region, those considering booking Precision Air flights to the country may be interested to learn.
Martin Charlwood, Canadian travel management expert, told the Citizen that a lack of publicity has led many visitors to the area to not go to locations such as Mount Kilimanjaro and the Ngorongoro Crater.
He observed that the amount spent on advertising the nation's attractions by the Tanzania Tourism Board is significantly lower than that of South Africa.
"Tanzania has potential to closely compete with the most advanced tourism markets in Africa such as South Africa and north African countries," he told the publication.
This comes after a recent piece in Hello! magazine asserted that the Serengeti National Park is one of the best places in the world to watch the sun go down.
