TAM Airlines has revealed that it will be running extra flights between Sao Paulo and Orlando in the US.

The services will start operating from August 2nd and there will be daily round-trip flights between the two cities.

According to the carrier, this will double the number of flights it offers between the two places.

It noted that it is currently the only carrier to offer direct daily journeys between Brazil and Orlando.

TAM Airlines also revealed that it has extended its on-air GSM and Wi-Fi services on its long-range fleet.

Zaidan Maluf, supply and contracts vice-president at the firm, commented: "There is no doubt that in-flight connectivity will become ubiquitous and we are determined to lead the way."

He added that this development will make the carrier the first in the Americas to provide passengers with a full range of connectivity options when on a long-haul trip.
