Graduates who do not have a job may find that taking a gap year is a good way to improve a CV, it has been claimed.
Young Brits may be tempted to book Air Botswana flights to Africa to spend some time away from their home country in light of the comments of gapyear.com founder Tom Griffiths.
He suggested that travelling - for example on flights to Botswana - may be an effective way to improve a resume.
"You can do something that is going to add value to your CV and make you more employable by taking a gap year to work overseas," Mr Griffiths observed.
The expert added that sitting at home and not working or heading off to see the world could have an adverse effect on employment prospects.
Botswana is a landlocked nation bordering Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia and it is dominated by the Kalahari Desert.
