SpiceJet launches Mumbai to Mangalore flights

SpiceJet aircraftExpanding Indian low fare carrier, SpiceJet Airlines, is launching a new destination from its hub in Mumbai with a new daily flight to Mangalore. SpiceJet already operate to Mangalore from Chennai and Hyderabad. The new route between Mangalore and Mumbai is due to start on February 1st 2012. The 1 hour 30 minute flights will operate every morning leaving Mumbai at 10:25 and leaving Mangalore at 12:25. Mangalore is the major port of the Indian state of Karnataka. It is situated 350 kilometres west of Bangalore and has developed into a dynamic business, commercial and information technology (IT) centre.

Currently SpiceJet operates 39 aircraft with over 250 flights daily to 31 Indian cities including Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Bagdogra, Bhopal, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Guwahati, Goa, Indore, Hyderabad, Jammu, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Madurai, Mumbai, Mangalore, Nagpur, Pune, Rajahmundry, Srinagar, Trichy, Tirupati, Trivandrum, Tuticorin, Varanasi, Vijaywada and Visakhapatnam. SpiceJet also operates international flights to two destinations, Kathmandu and Colombo.
