New management has allowed
Spice Jet to improve its operations and give it the chance to become one of the industry's main operators.

This is according to chief executive officer of the airline Neil Raymond Mills, who spoke to the Economic Times about the company's success.
He explained that in the past, Spice Jet "lacked a proper management" and required a clear direction in which to develop.
However, this has changed and Mr Mills is confident that the group - which is currently debt-free - will "emerge as one of the major players in the airlines industry".
The news provider notes that
Spice Jet recorded its fifth consecutive quarter of profits in December last year and experts predict it is likely this positive growth will continue.
Earlier this month, the publication reported that the flight operator is to launch 16 non-metro routes in July this year, with bases located in the north, east and south of India to ensure smaller cities are served.
