Solomon Airlines have confirmed the lease of an Airbus A320-212 aircraft from March 2011.
The new aircraft will replace the existing leased aircraft and in future the cabin will be exclusively manned by Solomon Airlines personnel.. Solomon Airlines currently operates four services per week into Brisbane from its base in Honiara. The new aircraft will have 20 business class seats which is 8 more than currently offered with the number of economy seats reduced from 144 to 120 providing greater leg room.
