

SkyEurope Airlines has received court permission to operate and reorganize under creditor protection, during which it will continue to fly its full schedule. CEO Jason Bitter said the airline will operate "without disruption" and that suppliers "will be fully paid" during the restructuring period, which was not defined.
It has appointed advisors, Reynolds Partners to help it secure new investment. " ATW news reported that "The company reported an €18.4 million ($25.5 million) loss in the fiscal second quarter ended March 31, widened 6.8% from a €17.2 million deficit in the year-ago period. Operating revenue fell 32.7% to €32 million as the airline cut capacity, and its operating loss deepened to €15.7 million from €21.4 million.
