SKY AIRLINE of Chile gets extra Airbus A320

SKY Airline, the growing independent airline based in Chile, has acquired an extra Airbus A320 aircraft on a short term lease from European airline, Air Malta.

The aircraft is expected to fly on the international routes between Chile and Peru and Chile and Brazil. SKY Airline is a Chilean airline providing passenger, mail and cargo air transportation services since 2001. Originally it started operating in the Caribbean but in June 2002, SKY moved to Chile flying from its base in Santiago to the main cities in the region. It currently owns a fleet of 13 Boeing 737-200 advanced aircraft and three Airbus A320.  It operates from its base in Santiago to Lima and Arequipa in Peru as well as Buenos Aires in Argentina and LA PAz in Bolivia , also the domestic destinations: Arica, Iquique, Calama, Antofagasta, El Salvador ,Copiapó, La Serena, Concepción, Temuco, Puerto Montt ,Balmaceda, Puerto Natales and  Punta Arenas SKY Airline employs more than eight hundred people and belongs to holding of companies JP, owned by German businessman Jürgen Paulmann (see photo).
