Gulfstream International Airlines, the dynamic Florida based regional carrier headed by experienced industry heavyweight, Darrell Richardson, has begun a rigorous rebranding into Silver Airways as part of its ongoing development since its purchase by Chicago based investment firm Victory Park.
“Starting in May 2011, we hit the ground running with a mandate to transform this airline from top to bottom,” said Darrell Richardson, chief executive of Silver Airways. “Our goal: to create the dream airline – one that’s financially sound, safe and professional, but also fun to fly and a great place to work. Adopting the Silver Airways brand is the latest step.”
The specially designed Silver Airways logo is based on the spinning propeller blades seen with turboprop engines as used on the Saab 340Bplus and Beechcraft 1900D aircraft in the fleet of Silver Airways. The dark grey and silver livery is complemented by deep fuschia engine nacelles and was launched on the first Saab 340plus which arrived on December 15th 2011.
Tickets on Silver Airways routes from Florida to the Bahamas are now available through the Alternative Airlines web site.
