Vacationers considering taking a trip to Africa may have more travel options as Rwandair is set to offer new services between Kigali, Nairobi and Johannesburg.
Starting on July 1st, holidaymakers and those moving between the African capitals on business will have greater flexibility.
There will be three flights each day between the Rwandan and Kenyan cities and a fourth weekly trip has been added to the number heading to Johannesburg.
Alice Katiti, commercial director at Rwandair, confirmed that the flights between Kigali and Nairobi will still run at 11:00 and 20:45 local time, but that a 07:00 or 16:00 option will also be available depending on the traffic each day.
She added that in August this year, the carrier expects to receive the first of its new Boeing 737-800 planes to improve its fleet.
Earlier this month, the firm announced that the board of directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States had approved financing for the purchase of the planes.
