RWANDA'S national flag carrier, RwandAir, has launched three times each week flights on a new route between Dar es Salaam-Bujumbura and Kigali.
The early morning flights originate from Kigali International Airport departing at at 0700hrs every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday while the direct return flights will be departing from Dar es Salaam (Mwalimu Julius Nyerere International Airport) at 11.00hrs.
Rwandair expects in increase seat capacity and its frequencies on this route and other when it acquires new Boeing 767 and 737-800 aircraft later this year.
Currently, RwandAir has flights to Kilimanjaro, Goma in DR Congo, Nairobi, Entebbe, Bujumbura and Addis Ababa and Johannesburg from Kilgali.
