Royal Jordanian to re-launch services to Kuala Lumpur

Royal Jordanian Airlines, based in Amman, will launch three weekly flights to the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur from Amman via Bangkok from June 2010 using an Airbus A330. The Airline has also announced the acquisition of new Airbus A 330 aircraft which will be used to operate the four times per week service to Hong Kong via Bangkok, three times a week to Colombo and daily to London. The new aircraft are wide-bodied, less-than-one-year-old aircraft with seating for 283 passengers; 24 of them are business class. The aircraft are both equipped with Audio-Video On Demand (AVOD) system, available to all passengers, whereby each can choose from a wide selection of programs and watch it on his/her screen.

In a separate announcement Royal Jordanian said that it will inaugurate a direct, regular service from Amman to Madinah, Saudi Arabia from 28th March 2010.
