The series of concerts take place in the capital between September 8th and 18th, those with flights to Moscow may be interested to learn.
This year will mark the 21st anniversary of the RNO and in the past, venues such as the Tchaikovsky Hall have been used.
Among the conductors that have worked with or are still fronting the RNO are Kent Nagano, Mikhail Pletnev and Carlo Ponti.
Those who are in Moscow during September will be able to choose from seven performances.
However, those that miss out on the Grand Festival may still be able to watch some of the shows if they are in the capital at a later date as the 2011-12 season begins on October 14th with another performance in the city.
The RNO is the first orchestra hailing from Russia to perform at the Vatican and in Israel.
