Qatar Airways is now able to offer more flights to destinations in East Africa with an extra 12 services to Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) and Nairobi (Kenya).
Qatar Airways now flies a total of 12 weekly flights between Doha and Dar es Salaam which is Tanzania’s commercial capital. Alongside this service the route between Nairobi and Doha has increased to 12-flights a week. Both routes are now operated with an A320 aircraft, featuring 12 seats in Business Class and 132 in Economy.
Qatar Airways is undergoing an expansion of its African subcontinental network and currently flies to 14 cities across Africa, including Alexandria, Algiers, Cairo, Luxor, Casablanca, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Khartoum, Lagos, Nairobi, Dar Es Salaam, Seychelles, Tripoli and Tunis.
