Expanding Tanzanian carrier, Precision AIr is set to be one the main benefactors of the planned renovation of Kilimanjaro International Airport which will commence next month.
Other airlines using the forty year old airport,which will undergo a facelift, including expanding the passenger capacity it can handle; resurfacing of the runway, taxiways and aprons,plus an upgrade of the terminal building ,will be KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Rwanda Air, Congo Air and Ethiopian Airlines and Flight 540. The cost of the renovation work will come partly from funds provided by the the Government of the Netherlands.
