Pegasus Airlines expand UK regional Flights

Pegasus Airlines has launched an extended low cost flying programme to Turkey from the UK for Summer 2010. New routes from London Gatwick Airport, Manchester Airport, Birmingham Airport and Stansted Airport to Bodrum, Anatalya and Dalaman will start from May 01st 2010. As of March 12th, Pegasus will also be flying to Paris Orly from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.

Pegasus Airlines was established in 1990 as a joint venture between Aer Lingus, Silkar Yatırım and Net Holding in Istanbul. Pegasus operated its first flight in May 1990 and it started its journey with just two aircraft. Throughout its successful 19-year history, Pegasus has become one Turkey’s leading airlines and currently has scheduled and charter flights to more than 100 different destinations in 17 countries. Today it has a fleet of 24 aircraft, including 14 state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800s, two Boeing 737-400s and three Boeing 737-500s. In addition, it provides wet leasing services to the other airlines when they need extra capacity besides their charter operations.
