Actress Olivia Williams may inspire Britons to book Air Botswana flights after saying a horse safari in the country's Okavango Delta was her best holiday experience
The star of the Sixth Sense told the Daily Telegraph that equines are the "ultimate amphibious vehicles" and that travelling in this way afforded her great freedom to explore the country.
"What made the holiday so extraordinary is that there were times when we could let go of the reins and the horses would move to graze among zebra, giraffe and elephant," she stated.
She described the experience as "intensely beautiful" and said she and her companion felt as though they had become part of the landscape while exploring the region in this way.
This comes after a spokesperson for Abta - The Travel Association asserted that Africa is becoming an increasingly popular destination among travellers from the UK, identifying Botswana as one nation that has enjoyed particularly strong growth.
