SATA International opens new lounge in Boston

From 1st June 2010, SATA Plus Class passengers and SATA Imagine Goldsky members now have access to a new lounge at Logan Airport in Boston (USA). The new lounge offered by SATA International to its customers belongs to Air France and is the result of an agreement signed between Grupo SATA and the French airline. This new lounge can accommodate 160 people and was recently inaugurated by Air France. It is a completely new, sophisticated and modern environment.

With easy access to the boarding lounge, the new SATA lounge in Boston offers all of the services that can be expected from such facilities, namely telephone, fax, Internet, Wi‐Fi, LCD TV’s, iMac, a variety of snacks, sandwiches and drinks, newspapers, magazines, etc.. This new lounge for passengers flying SATA Plus Class and SATA Imagine Goldsky members is the result of a series of measures that have been implemented by SATA with a view to improving the service supplied to this group of customers, including new menus created by Chef Chakall for inflight meals on SATA Internacional, 24‐hour free parking at Ponta Delgada, Funchal, Lisbon and Porto airports, along with the Valet Express service at Lisbon airport, remodelling of the SATA lounges, more and better assistance in the event of flight irregularities, etc. Improvement in the service offered in SATA Plus Class resulted in a 2.3% growth in the number of passengers travelling in this class in 2009 compared to 2008.
