LAN Airlines moves for Colombian airline, Aeroasis

LAN Airlines, the growing Latin American airline grouping, has announced an agreement with the Colombian Airline Aeroasis. The agreement which allows LAN to provide Aeroasis with technical support and service consultancy, is in advance of the start-up Colombian airline being granted and operating permit from the Colombian civil aviation authority. LAN have indiacted that once Aeroasis has obtained its operating permit, the Colombian airline willy become part of the LAN group of airlines.

Aeroasis was formed 2006 and  LAN Airlines is one of the leading passenger and cargo airlines in Latin America. Latin America Airlines are increasingly forming into large multi national organisations with this move by LAN taking them into direct competition in the Colombian market with the important Avianca of Colombia /TACA of El Salvador group and the COPA of Panama/AeroRepublica of Colombia organisation.
