KLM will launch a new scheduled services five times per week between Amsterdam Schiphol and Kigali International in Rwanda from October 31st.
The new flight is KLM's 64th intercontinental destination in the network and will be flown using an Airbus A330-200 aircraft with a stopover in Entebbe. There are currently no non-stops from Kigali to Europe, however Brussels Airlines offers a direct flight which also stops in Entebbe, with A330-300 equipment. In East Africa, KLM currently serves Nairobi, Entebbe, Kilimanjaro and Dar Es Salaam.

The national carrier, Rwandair, operates to a growing number of domestic and regional destinations from Kigali.
