AeroRepublica launch new Bogota to Guayaquil service
AeroRepublica, the Colombian based airline owned by COPA of Panama, has announced a new three times weekly service between its base in Bogota and the Ecuadorean marine city of Guayaquil.
The flights will operate four times each week each evening on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from Bogota and every morning on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from Guayaquil. The first flight will operate on March 26th 2010 and the route will be flown with Embraer -190 aircraft.

Aero Republica is also looking at launching its own direct services from Bogota to several international destinations which are already served by its parent company, Copa, including Miami and Sao Paulo. AeroRepublica currently operates 25% to 30% of its capacity is international with Panama City flights accounting for most of this capacity.
