TAAG Angola resumes flights to Kuito

The Angolan State-run Airline (TAAG) has resumed flights from Luanda to Kuito, the capital city of central Bie province, seven years after stopping services due to the bad condition of “Joaquim Kapango” airport.

The Kuito flights are operated by Boeing 737-200 and 737-700 aircraft flying three times weekly. The resumption of flights to Kuito concided with the official hand over of the Kapango” airport to Government authorities, after repair, modernisation and expansion.
