Belavia Belarusian Airlines has acquired an extra Boeing 737/500

On August 5, 2009 Belavia Belarussian airlines received a further Boeing 737-500 aircraft from International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) in a 123 all economy configuration.

The aircraft previously flew with Lithuanian (FlyLAL) airlines. Belavia continues to develop its route network with a new flight between Minsk and Beirut was launched on August, 10 with Minsk to Amsterdam launching later this year. Belavia currently operates a fleet of 5 Boeing 737-500’s, 3 x Boeing 737-300’s, 3 x CRJ- 100/200’s, 4 x TU 154-M’s and 1 x TU-134.
