Fly Kumba is the name chosen by a group of Zimbabwean based aviation entrepreneurs for the launch of the first low cost airline to be based in Harare.
The business plan suggests that operations will commence later this year on the Harare-Johannesburg and Bulawayo-Johannesburg routes. CEO Lloyd Muchaka has indicated that the airline intends to become Zimbabwe’s preferred low-cost airline by delivering the lowest air fares with the highest consumer value add offering world class service to price sensitive consumers. . Routes planned for future development include Harare-Bulawayo, Harare-Victoria Falls, Johannesburg-Victoria Falls and Harare-Kariba.
