Saéreo, Ecuador's newest airline has flown its inaugural flight to the peruvian city of Piura from Santa Rosa in Northern Peru.

Saéreo flights between Piura and Santa Rosa will be initially three times a week, with an Embraer 120 pressurized twin-turboprop aircraft, featuring high cruise speed. The flights will take around 30 minutes and the aircraft has capacity for up to 30 passengers. The new itinerary, between the northern city of Piura, Peru, and Santa Rosa, situated in southern Ecuador, will be considered a domestic flight, meaning passengers will not have to pay departure taxes.
Regular Flights will start in mid November 2010.
