Art lovers from across the world may be preparing to book flights to Moscow this autumn to view the city's Biennale of Contemporary Art.

The exhibition is being put on between September 22nd and October 30th at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.

Those with Transaero flights to the Russian capital will be able to view examples of recent artworks using a variety of media, such as sculpture, video and paintings.

As well as the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, other venues in the city will also be hosting shows, such as the State Tretyakov Gallery.

The theme for this year's event is Rewriting Worlds and fans of art who attend may expect to see work by artists such as Irina Nakhova and William Kentridge.

While in the capital, those who have booked Transaero flights may also want to visit historical sites such as Red Square, St Basil's Cathedral and the Kremlin.
