Plans are being formulated to build more hotels on the coast of Kenya, news that might encourage people to purchase Fly540 flights to the country for a holiday.
Equity Bank has revealed that it is ready to partner with businesses in the area to build more tourist accommodation, reports the Nairobi Star.
James Mwangi, chief executive officer of the financial institution, said: "We want more three-star hotels in the region so that we accommodate more tourists."
He added that the coast is one of the country's leading tourist destinations.
Consequently, the expert said it is important to improve the facilities in the region to boost the number of foreign and local holidaymakers heading to the area.
Mr Mwangi invited businesspeople in Kenya to "come and sit down with us so that we can talk".
Visitors to Kenya may want to consider going on safari to see the Great Migration, which involves millions of migratory animals such as wildebeest, gazelles and zebras travel to the country from Tanzania.
