Holidaymakers may be tempted to book Air Botswana flights, as a visit by US president Barack Obama's wife could raise the profile of the African nation.
Michelle Obama is scheduled to travel to both Botswana and South Africa between June 21st and 26th 2011.
It is believed the tour will be a continuation of the good work Ms Obama does in the field of youth development, which has seen her travel to numerous countries worldwide.
A statement released by the White House recently stated that the trip will "underscore the historic connections between the American people and those who live on the African continent".
Ms Obama will be accompanied by her mother and two daughters Malia and Sasha, as she engages with people in both countries.
Botswana is enjoying a burgeoning reputation as a holiday destination and a spokesperson for Abta - The Travel Association stated last month that the picturesque nation has seen an increase in visitor numbers in recent times.
