Yesterday I met with the charming UK Country Manager of China Airlines, who is currently planning the arrival of the first non-stop, direct flight from Taipei into Lonodn Heathrow on March 28th.
For this amazing extra long haul sector China Airlines will use their spacious Airbus A340-400,
which will provide 30 seats for business class passengers with reclining 176 degree, and a total of 246 seats for economy class passengers. The new scheduled service will operate three times each week leaving Heathrow at 22:05 on Tuesday, Thursdays and Sundays and arriving in Taipei the following day at 17:05.
