Former Michelin-starred chef Marco Pierre White has revealed that India is the next country he is keen on exploring, those considering booking Spice Jet flights to the country may be interested to learn.

The Hell's Kitchen star told the Daily Telegraph that he did not know the exact reason why the Asian nation was an appealing destination for him.

However, he asserted that he gets "this feeling that I'd like to go there and discover the country".

White stated that when he eventually decides to explore India, he hopes to allocate at least a month to the trip so he can "immerse" himself there.

Spice Jet customers may be tempted to book flights in light of the recent World Economic Forum's (WEF's) Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index, which ranked India at 68th in the world

It was rated particularly highly for its natural and cultural resources, with the WEF nothing that there is "rich fauna, many fairs and exhibitions and strong creative industries" for visitors to enjoy.
