Alternative Airlines mission to become the best global site for booking flights on lesser known airlines is ongoing, but it can only be achieved if, alongside excellent customer service and an easy to use web booking facility, we can get our site very visible on the search engines.

In the recent past we have had some excellent start-up help from the giant BigMouthMedia (who also advise British Airways) but they rapidly lost interest in us once their account team structure disintegrated. Then we went to the other extreme with some even more focussed advice from a one-man start-up, using Chris from QueryClick, but that relationship decayed as one man rapidly became two,three and four with an apparent lessening in the quality of response once the main man was less engaged with the day to day. Most recently we have gone it alone reading articles, blogs and using the odd free training session (thankyou Greenlight) plus employing someone directly to run our social media initiatives. But it's clearly not enough and now we are beginning our search for a new partner to upgrade everything from top to bottom without losing our current positions. Like all travel companies, we do not have a huge budget and in-line with our need to get our "search for Alternative Airlines" message across we need creative thinking as well as clever use of best practice. So any SEO companies or gurus out there reading this, please drop us a line if you think that you can and would like to help... we think that we need strategic as well as tactical input and we'd like to find a way to structure a relationship such that as we grow everyone benefits..
