Wednesday... What an early start !
I woke up at 3 in the morning to leave enough time to get to the airport. I didn’t get much sleep as I was very nervous about the trip and particularly about meeting the other people who I would be travelling with. First I met the organiser of the trip at 0530am to catch our flight from London Heathrow to Paris, he was very nice and was telling me about the trip and the nerves started to go. We arrived in Paris where we met another person who was on the trip, fortunately she was also very friendly ando by the time we left Paris to take our flight to Hanoi I felt less nervous and much better about everything. However I was still very worried about how I was going to manage on the 12 hour flight, but - NO PROBLEM ! - the onboard entertainment and the comfy seats made the flight really enjoyable and I managed to sleep and watch a couple of films...........now I'm really looking forward to arriving in Vietnam !!
