Pegasus Airlines and Kyrgyzstan Airlines have launched Kyrgyz Pegasus Airlines (KRA).
The new airline carrier will operate as a low fare airline flying on both international and domestic routes. Pegasus Airlines of Turkey will hold a 49% stake in the new carrier and the airline will use two Boeing 737 from Pegasus to launch its flights.
KRA will be based in the Kyrgyzstan capital, Bishkek with to Istanbul, Dubai, Incheon, Astana and Moscow commencing in November 2009. Future plans include possible services to China.
