Korean Air have just announced the launch of a new three times weekly direct service between London Gatwick and their operating base at Seoul's Incheon Airport. The new flights will commence on 27th March 2012 and will operate on a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. Flying from Gatwick on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with return flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday the new flights are in addition to the existing daily service from London Heathrow.
Gatwick Airport is currently having remarkable success in attracting new long haul services. As well as Korean Air, the new four times weekly flights direct to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi operated by Vietnam Airlines start in December plus the Air Asia X direct flights to Kuala Lumpur have moved to the airport from London Stansted. In addition to these wins the new, heavily publicised, double daily Lufthansa service from Gatwick to Frankfurt now provides easy connections to all the global network of flights flown by Lufthansa from their main operating base in Frankfurt.
Alternative Airlines have a special relationship with Korean Air and our on-line flight availability and booking display gives you all the details you require to make an informed choice of flight to South East Asia.
