Kingfisher to fly to London Heathrow

Kingfisher Airlines has been granted traffic rights to operate scheduled services from its main base at New Delhi to London Heathrow. This will be Kingfisher's first European destination, however the launch date is yet to be announced.

The Indian independent airline has also been awarded traffic rights to fly from Delhi to Hong Kong, Bangkok and Dubai, along with Mumbai to Bankgok, Colombo and Dubai.

Kingfisher are planning to operate Airbus A330 aircraft on the routes from New Delhi  to LHR and HKG and Airbus 320 aircraft on the other new routes.

Kingfisher Airlines Limited is a major Indian airline. Kingfisher operates more than 400 flights a day and has a network of 80 destinations, with regional and long-haul international services and has a 50 percent stake in low-cost carrier Kingfisher Red.
